Used these diamond tools for removing a layer of old thinset mortar from where my outdoor tiles came loose. They went through the old material with no problems. Large kickoff of dust is expected when using this dry. Seemed very durable and minimal loss of the tools after completion of the job.

This grinding heads are well made and effective. I recommend wet grinding with concrete to reduce dust and improve tool wear. Great product and good price, performed beyond expectations.

It did what you expect. Grinding away the old thinset of my patio.
Note, when using this kind of tools, keep good ventilation and keep grinding at a constant speed. The surface turn out very smoothly.
