The Process of Floor Renovation
2021-11-30

There are two levels of renovation of floor which are light renovation and deep renovation. Below we will specifically introduce these renovation levels and the process of floor renovation.

1. Light renovation

The surface of the floor was slightly scratched. During the overall grinding and renovation, the later maintenance of the stone was not in place, which caused the stone surface to completely lose its luster and can not reflect the object at all. If you want to restore the surface of the stone as bright as new, you can use a light renovation process for renovation.

2.Deep renovation

After paving the stone, the floor was put into use without the overall grinding and renovation, resulting in insufficient floor flatness and gloss. Another situation is that

after the floor has been put into used for a long time, it completely lose the gloss and appear holes, weathering, severe corrosion, colloid shedding, black seams and deep scratches. These all need to be deeply refurbished to restore the bright and gloss as new floor.

The process of floor renovation

1.Clean the original filling between the floor gaps first, and then use a special stone slitting machine to neatly cut and slit the center gaps of the original floor installation to reduce the width difference of the gaps between the floor.

2.Use marble glue that is close to the color of the floor itself and color it to make it fully close to the color of the original floor to improve the overall feeling. Then fill the gaps with marble glue. Since the marble glue will shrink to a certain extent after it is completely solidified, so the marble glue should be slightly higher than the level of the floor, so that it will not be filled multiple times.

3. Use diamond grinding tools to grind the floor which solve the problem of height difference between the gaps and prevent the gaps from turning black again. Use a floor grinder with a special edge grinding wheel to carefully grind the edge and corner to make it a flat surface with the floor.

4. After the grinding process of the floor is completely, turn to use diamond polishing pads with different grits to polish the floor from coarse to fine. Then the floor is becoming bright and smooth as new and achieve high gloss.

5.Use crystal powder and diamond impregnated pads to polish the floor. Under the heavy pressure of grinding, the floor and crystal powder will undergo a comprehensive physical and chemical reaction under the action of high temperature, forming a dense and hard crystal protective layer. After crystallization, it can enhance the color and brightness of the floor, as well as water and oil resistance.
