Used these diamond tools for removing a layer of old thinset mortar from where my outdoor tiles came loose. They went through the old material with no problems. Large kickoff of dust is expected when using this dry. Seemed very durable and minimal loss of the tools after completion of the job.

Note, when using this kind of tools, keep good ventilation and keep grinding at a constant speed. The surface turn out very smoothly.

Does it's job well. I used this to grind down my concrete floors before installing a floating vinyl floor. It was a very dusty job, but this plate made quick work of the concrete.
