This tool gives good performance and long life when grinding surfaces flat. It also create a great deal of noise, flying debris and dust. Dust can be reduced by keeping the surface wet with flowing water. Eye and hearing protection for anyone in the area are a must.
I had some uneven surfaces in the floor when I took down a wall and added on, These disc's cut that concrete down to smooth as can be and work very well.
One of my customers wanted tile on their porch. One of my better repeat customers so I took it on. It fit my grinder perfectly and took the old carpet glue right off and still has lots of life left. I used a dust collector and shop vac which worked well,but I recommend using a bag in the vacuum if you can. I'll be purchasing another one of these. For the price, you can't go wrong.
They worked very well to prep for a coating and lasted a very long time only used 6 pads and they still looked new couldn't believe it. A great product.
used to remove old tile mortar, worked very well. very aggressive removal, but useful for this job and let me resurface some of a concrete slab. suggest you only use if you're looking to remove large amounts of material quickly.
Wow, this is a great quality tool, and affordable for even a single job, like our mud room addition! We used it to shape and polish the rough edges on a thin granite counter top, backsplash and drainboard area.
